Your body is a growing a little miracle.  Capturing this unique time in your life is so special.  After a brief consultation we will decide what style maternity session best fits your personality and will tell your personal experience as a pregnant woman the best. Choose whether you want to tell your story through an album or create a custom one of a kind art piece to hang proudly on your walls to remind you of how strong and beautiful you were at this time in your life! Sessions are available to include individuals, couples, or the entire family.  Your choice of location whether it is out on location, in your home featuring your little one's nursey, or in the studio!  Bedrest? No worries! I've shot a session at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center before for a mom whose water broke early!

A Fresh 48 session is when I meet you and your new miracle at the hospital (or at your home if you had a home birth) within the first two days of their arrival!  Poses will be lifestyle, baby led poses, that will be a mix of just baby, and baby with up to four family members including all those little macro shots giving you a close up of all that adorable baby squishiness!  I will bring a wrap in the color of your choice and appropriate lighting to ensure beautiful timeless images perfect for a mini album or new prints up on your nursery wall! (No props or backdrops will be brought to these sessions).

Second baby? Fresh 48 sessions are perfect for capturing that first moment when siblings meet each other for the first time! 

In Your Home or at the Studio

Contacting me as early in your pregnancy as possible is best practice when it comes to finding the right photographer for your newborn portrait needs.  From the moment you contact me we will be planning your session and deciding which props and style are going to best match your needs.  These sessions can include family and siblings, or just feature the newborn only.  They can take place in your home as posed images or lifestyle or they can take place in the studio!  Preplanning the session to secure props, outfits for everyone, and determining the color pallete are key to a succesful photoshoot!
